The Fox Range

• •The Fox Range is a comprehensive firearms training facility located in Fairbanks, Alaska, offering a safe, clean, and family-friendly environment for shooters of all skill levels. This full-service range features three flat shooting bays ranging from 75-150 feet in length, providing ample space for pistol, rifle, and shotgun practice.

The Fox Range combines practical shooting infrastructure with essential amenities designed for year-round operation in Alaska's challenging climate. The facility includes:

• •Three flat bays (75-150 feet) for various shooting disciplines
• •Steel target systems with stands and target accessories available in each bay
• •Pro-shop stocked with ammunition, targets, reloading supplies, and range accessories
• •Heated classroom serving as a comfortable staging area for loading magazines, storing gear, and warming up during winter months

The Fox Range operates on a membership model, with an annual family membership available at $340/year. Memberships include access for spouses and children in the household, plus two guest passes per month. All new members must complete a scheduled orientation tour and brief before accessing the range.

The range maintains seasonal operating hours to accommodate Alaska's daylight variations: - Summer (April 15 - September 30): Monday-Saturday 9am-8pm, Sunday 9am-6pm - Winter (October 1 - April 14): Operations during legal daylight hours

The Fox Range hosts numerous clubs and classes throughout the year:

• •USPSA Pistol Competition with Fairbanks Alaska Shooters (FAS) - Tuesdays at 6pm and select Sundays
• •Cowboy Action Shooting - 2nd & 4th Sundays (May-September)
• •Professional Instruction - Self-defense, concealed carry, and rifle courses managed by certified instructors
