My Gun Trader

My Gun Trader is a law enforcement and military veteran-owned firearms marketplace created to give gun owners a free and open platform to buy, sell, and trade firearms, ammunition, parts, accessories, archery gear, and hunting equipment across all 50 states.

The platform launched with a simple mission: provide a better alternative to crowded classifieds that are flooded with dealers and plagued by scammers.

Unlike competitors that either charge monthly membership fees or prioritize premium dealer accounts, My Gun Trader keeps things straightforward:

Registered users police the site themselves. Any listing or user that appears to be a scam or violates Terms & Conditions can be flagged by peers for removal. My Gun Trader doesn't get involved in transactions—that's between buyer and seller—but the peer reporting system has proven effective at removing bad actors.

Private sellers can legally sell firearms to residents of their own state provided they have no reasonable cause to believe the buyer is prohibited from possessing firearms under federal law. My Gun Trader provides a free Firearm Bill of Sale template to document transactions. For out-of-state transfers, most local gun shops will conduct the background check for $25–$50.

The platform has grown to serve 50,000+ monthly visitors with 2,200+ registered users. Recent listings show active inventory including CZ pistols, AR-15s, tactical shotguns, precision rifles, and vintage Colts from $300 to $3,300.
