520 Tactical operates as a pistol and rifle range in east Tucson, open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm. Drop in whenever—instructors are always available for lessons, and there's no need to book ahead.
Any pistol caliber is allowed. Rifles are limited to .223, 5.56, and 300BLK. Shotguns permitted with double 00 buckshot only. All firearms must have sights (scopes, red dots, or irons). The range enforces strict safety protocols with mandatory eye and ear protection and a range safety officer on duty.
With over 100 firearms available for rent, you have options:

After your first rental, pistols are 50% off. Rental firearms require range ammo (additional cost).

Range lessons from 520 Tactical's instructors cover everything from basic fundamentals to advanced accuracy work:
They work with new shooters, refresher students, anyone wanting better accuracy, or shooters needing help with red dot sighting. Walk-ins always welcome.
A gunsmith is available Friday through Tuesday for: - Pistol cleaning: $10 - Rifle cleaning: $20
520 Tactical hosts three matches per month: USPSA, IDPA, and rifle/carbine competitions. Events run 6:30pm-10pm, $20 per person to compete. Everyone is invited—new competitors welcome.
The range maintains strict protocols: firearms must be pointed downrange always, all shooters keep fingers off triggers until ready to fire, no alcohol or drugs, and no food or beverages on the range. Only one shooter per booth at a time, and firearm handling is restricted to inside the booth. Violations result in liability and financial responsibility for any damage or injury.
