ASRPA Cactus Clays

ASRPA Cactus Clays operates the shotgun division of the Arizona State Rifle & Pistol Association, a 501(c)(4) organization affiliated with the National Rifle Association. They focus on clay target shooting instruction and competitive shotgun sports.

The ASRPA Cactus Clays Trap Instructional Course runs weekly January through March at Ben Avery Clay Target Center in Phoenix. Classes meet Thursdays with an early session (5:00-5:30 PM) and main instruction (7:00 PM). The format combines 1:1 coaching within squad shooting.

ASRPA Cactus Clays also runs: - Sporting Clays Fun Shoots – 76-target courses at Ben Avery, scores don't count, winners drawn from registration raffle tickets - Upland Bird Hunts for Women & Youths – Introduction to pheasant and chukar hunting for intermediate to advanced shooters at Desert Pheasant Recreation near Coolidge
