Full description and what we offer
Flagstaff Archers operates a members-only archery range at Fort Tuthill County Park in Coconino County. The facility splits into two distinct areas: a sight-in range with 14 targets spaced at 10-yard increments up to 80 yards, and a 20-acre 3-D walk course that simulates natural hunting environments.
The 3-D course features targets ranging from javelina to elk, giving both beginner and experienced archers a realistic challenge. The natural setting lets you practice shots the way you'd encounter them in the field—not just standing at a fixed distance.
| Membership Type | Cost | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Individual | $115/year | Single adult |
| Family | $150/year | Two parents + children under 18, same household |
New members purchase their first membership at Bull Basin Archery in Flagstaff (where you get your gate access card). Renewals can happen online if your card is active, or in-person at Bull Basin for reactivations.
Day passes are available for $15 per person if you want to try before joining—contact Coconino County Fairgrounds office.
Broadheads are not allowed on the range, even practice broadheads. Flagstaff Archers prohibits them due to county park regulations and liability. Practice broadheads on your own target outside city limits on USFS land.
Flagstaff Archers doesn't provide equipment or scheduled lessons. You'll need your own bow and arrows. The Coconino County Parks & Recreation Department offers "Learn to Shoot Archery" programs in the summer if you're completely new to the sport.
Membership connects you with other archers—both hunters and target shooters. Members get info and help with hunting prep, equipment questions, and technique. Your dues support archery programming in the Flagstaff area and Arizona wildlife conservation.
Renewals are flexible throughout the year. Your membership stays active for 12 full months from whenever you renew, then your gate card deactivates until you renew again. Questions about membership, access cards, or events? Email [email protected].
