Centra Performance Center

Centra Performance Center has been running firearms training in Central Arkansas since 2012. They operate as a membership-based facility—not a drop-in range—which means they vet applicants and keep the training environment controlled.

They've built something most ranges don't have: Arkansas's only dynamic shooting range with astroturf ground surface. That matters because it changes how you train. Beyond that, the facility includes:

• •Rifle range stretching past 100 yards with steel and paper targets
• •Jungle run course—wooded navigation drill where you engage targets as you find them
• •6 days a week of exclusive group classes (members only)

The facility philosophy is direct: you own a gun, but can you actually use it? Training is the difference between accident prevention and decisive response.

Aaron Acklin (Owner, Head Coach) — Modern Samurai Project endorsed instructor, IDPA Carry Optics Expert, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt. Also runs Aaron's Gun Cabinet for FFL services.

Erik Bruckman (Performance Shooting Coach) — USPSA and IDPA Master, 2024 Arkansas USPSA Carry Optics State Champion, 2025 USPSA PCC State Champion. Operates Better Marksman training and YouTube channel.

Zachary Petrey (Tactical & Medical Training) — Marine veteran, active duty firefighter. Specializes in fireteam/squad tactical training and civilian disaster response radio instruction.

All members get reduced pricing on FFL services through Aaron's Gun Cabinet.

This is a serious training operation, not a casual range. They're selective about membership and focus on instruction quality over volume.
