Alpha & Omega Firearms Training is veteran-owned and operated by an instructor with serious credentials. After enlisting in the US Air Force at 18—including security detail at the 1984 Olympics and Alert Pad duty supporting B-52s—he transitioned to the US Coast Guard, where he served as an Electrician Mate 1st Class and Maritime Law Enforcement Officer conducting boardings in the Gulf of Alaska and providing security for the 1990 Goodwill Games.

Tactical Carbine Defense ($350/student) Builds fundamentals while improving performance and decision-making with AR-15 platforms. Covers marksmanship, combat reloads, target identification, mechanical offset, use of cover, multiple positions, and balancing speed with accuracy. Requires minimum 500 rounds 5.56/.223.
Tactical Pistol ($350/student) Advanced pistol skills focusing on accuracy, safe handling, and practical engagement. Covers core marksmanship, reload concepts, malfunction management, cover usage, and close- to medium-distance proficiency. Requires minimum 500 rounds pistol ammunition.
USCCA Basic Pistol Course ($265/person) Safety-first introduction to firearms ownership. Combines approximately 2–3 hours classroom instruction with 1.5 hours live-fire range time. Topics include firearm safety, operation, ammunition, platform overview, stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, and recoil management. Includes completion certificate.

The instructor holds certifications in pistol and carbine instruction (KAGWERKS Levels 1–2, BAER Solutions, ITUS Defense), rifle training (Core Vision, Fieldcraft Survival), night vision operations (GCS Training Group), and competitive shooting experience across Limited, Limited 10, and Single Stack divisions. Over 15 years of reloading experience in .45 ACP, .40 S&W, 9mm, .308 WIN, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .300 Winchester Magnum.
Prep payment required at registration. Class sizes are limited and filled first-come, first-paid basis. Cancellations made two weeks or more prior receive course credit. Located in Northern California with classes in Richmond.
