Burbank Muzzleloaders

Burbank Muzzle Loaders is an established members-only shooting club dedicated to black powder rifle sports and traditional muzzleloading. Located in Piru, California, the club welcomes both veteran shooters and newcomers interested in the heritage and precision of black powder firearms.

The club hosts a comprehensive year-round schedule of competitive and recreational shooting events:

The range features dedicated shooting infrastructure including target stations for silhouette matches, benchrest shooting tables for precision work, a trail walk shooting course for field competition, and a membership parking area. The club maintains access roads for members, with ongoing improvements to ensure safe passage to the range.

Burbank Muzzle Loaders is a members-only facility. The club has grown from its original location in the Saugus/Newhall area to its current home in Piru, building a community of shooters ranging from longtime members to recent newcomers. Scheduled match events are required for range participation. All activities are subject to strict adherence to safety rules and range regulations.

The organization is managed by a dedicated team including President Tom Trevor and Vice President Sam Baseman. The club maintains an active newsletter, tracks annual Shooter of the Year awards, and hosts special events throughout the calendar year.
