Fresno County Gun Owners formed as a CRPA chapter in 2022 to organize Second Amendment advocates at the local level. There's no membership fee—they fund operations through fundraisers, merchandise, and donations.
Training & Classes: - FREE New Handgun Owner Basic Training (covers firearm operation, safety, grip, aiming, range procedures, storage, transportation) - Handgun Training Series—6-month programs (morning and afternoon sessions)
Community Engagement: - Annual dinner fundraiser with raffles, auctions, and firearms giveaways - Community service and outreach events - Legislative resource hub (find your state and federal representatives)
The chapter is run by volunteers: Mike Carey (Chairman), Wayne Jordan (Co-Chair), Jose Flores (Secretary), and Kevin Nelson (Treasurer).
Early Bird Special on Dinner Tickets: Buy before January 31st and get a free $20 drawing ticket for every dinner ticket purchased.
This is a way to engage in Second Amendment advocacy on a local level without breaking the bank. Members stay current on California firearms law, connect with other gun owners, and participate in organized efforts to defend 2A rights. All patriotic people are welcome.
