Fresno County Gun Owners

Fresno County Gun Owners formed as a CRPA chapter in 2022 to organize Second Amendment advocates at the local level. There's no membership fee—they fund operations through fundraisers, merchandise, and donations.

• •Monthly Meetings happen the 2nd Monday at 6:30 PM at the Police Science Institute (5133 N. Gates, Fresno). Meetings feature guest speakers covering current laws, 2A news, and practical information to keep members informed on legal issues.

Training & Classes: - FREE New Handgun Owner Basic Training (covers firearm operation, safety, grip, aiming, range procedures, storage, transportation) - Handgun Training Series—6-month programs (morning and afternoon sessions)

Community Engagement: - Annual dinner fundraiser with raffles, auctions, and firearms giveaways - Community service and outreach events - Legislative resource hub (find your state and federal representatives)

The chapter is run by volunteers: Mike Carey (Chairman), Wayne Jordan (Co-Chair), Jose Flores (Secretary), and Kevin Nelson (Treasurer).

This is a way to engage in Second Amendment advocacy on a local level without breaking the bank. Members stay current on California firearms law, connect with other gun owners, and participate in organized efforts to defend 2A rights. All patriotic people are welcome.
