Golden State Arms started with a simple idea: buying a firearm shouldn't be complicated. The founder Abe created the shop around competitive pricing, quality gunsmithing, and actual customer service. That foundation still drives how they operate today.

The shop honors the legacy of those who shaped it, including Sergeant Danilo Castaneda Jr. of the LASD—a close friend and early influence on the team's passion for firearms. January each year features special law enforcement deals to recognize active and retired officers and their sacrifice.

The team helps you pick or design a firearm that fits your actual needs. They handle all California requirements—DROS, background checks, proof of residence verification, FSC validation. No surprise fees: DROS is $37.19, ammo background check adds $1 (or $20 if not on the AFS system), and FSC testing runs $25 with one free retry.
