Founded in 1926, the Marin Rod and Gun Club started with just 35 members and has grown to over 1,200 active members committed to conservation, preservation, and propagation of fish and game across Marin County and California.
The club operates 55 acres of uplands and tide-lands at Point San Quentin on San Pablo Bay, offering members exclusive access to some of Northern California's best fishing and outdoor recreation.
The heart of the club is a fishing pier stretching nearly half a mile into San Pablo Bay, open daily from sunrise to sunset exclusively for members, families, and guests. Anglers regularly land:
The pier is maintained year-round and provides consistent access to productive fishing grounds with dedicated parking and amenities.
The club operates and maintains a dedicated archery range with:
Archers gain access by paying the annual range fee, signing the waiver, and receiving a master lock code from the archery team.
The clubhouse was built in 1956 and serves as the hub for member activities:
