Circle S Ranch operates a public outdoor shooting range about 15 miles west of Petaluma near the Two Rock U.S. Coast Guard Training Center, just across the Sonoma/Marin County line. This is a straightforward, no-frills facility built for serious shooters.
Pistol Range - 25 and 50-yard bays - Standing (offhand) shooting position
Rifle Range - 100, 200, and 300-yard distances - Bench shooting only (sitting at benches required) - No standing or prone positions
Trap Shooting - Bring your own thrower and clay birds - #7 steel shot only (available for purchase at Circle S)

Bring everything you need. There's no gun rental, no ammunition counter, and no retail operation. This is a range facility, not a store.
From Highway 101 in Petaluma, take the East Washington Street exit heading west (becomes Bodega Ave). After passing Pepper Road, turn left onto Tomales-Petaluma Road toward the Coast Guard Training Center. Continue 3.2 miles west, then turn right onto Alexander Road. Circle S is the first driveway on your left.
