Twin Cities Rod and Gun Club

Twin Cities Rod and Gun Club operates two active shooting ranges in Yuba City. The main facility at 68 Second St (next to Sutter County Airport) is open Saturdays and Sundays, 9am–1pm. Their clubhouse and indoor range at 1125 Market St hosts special events, meetings, and most rimfire activities.

Their mission is straightforward: provide safe recreational shooting, promote the shooting sports, preserve hunting heritage, and offer instruction to youth and new shooters.

• •Action Pistol Shoots - Second Sunday of every month at 1:00 PM. Real-world scenario training where you learn to engage multiple targets, move and shoot, use cover, and reload under pressure. Open to all skill levels.

• •CCW Classes - NRA-certified instruction meeting California requirements for Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa counties. Classes are held the 2nd Saturday monthly at their Market St classroom.

• •Bullseye Pistol Leagues - Both centerfire and rimfire options. Centerfire shoots at distances from 3–15 yards.

• •Sutter Shooting Team - Top-10 nationally ranked competitive rifle team. Sign-ups in November. Target .22 and air rifles available.

• •High Power Rifle Shoots - CMP Match and Clinic Shoots with centerfire rifles using metallic sights (no scopes). Rifles and ammunition available for a fee.

Monthly board meetings are the first Wednesday at 7:00 PM. General membership meetings (usually with dinner) happen the second Wednesday at 6:30 PM, except June–August. Both are open to members and prospective members.
