Full description and what we offer
COFA (Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America) is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that hosts outdoor education events for families and kids in Colorado Springs. Their flagship offering is the Kids' Archery Clinic and Gun Safety & BB Gun Target Shoot—a free, full-day program that includes equipment, instruction, and lunch.
Programs run for children ages 5-17. COFA recommends starting archery at age 8 when kids typically have the strength to handle beginner bows safely, but younger children (5-7) can participate with provided equipment.
"This is a great event for kids and the whole family! And it's FREE, with lunch provided! We want kids to experience some outdoor fun activities without their electronics."
Beyond kids' clinics, COFA organizes: - Hunter education courses - Women's self-defense training - Women's elk hunts - National off-road riding events - Fall outdoor retreats - Women's ministry programs
