Full description and what we offer
Arapaho Wilderness Outfitters is the first big game hunting outfitter in Colorado to receive a special use permit for commercial guided hunts within Arapaho National Forest. They operate on public lands under U.S. Forest Service permit in Game Management Units 18 and 28—some of the most remote, untouched terrain in the state.
Based just outside Granby, Colorado, the hunting area sits along the Continental Divide and is accessible only by foot, boat, or horseback. This isolation is the point. The terrain is rough, steep, and holds healthy populations of trophy elk, mule deer, moose, and black bear without the pressure of easy access.
Licensed, Insured & Bonded | Colorado Outfitter License #3001 | U.S. Forest Service Special Use Permit

Shane and Darlene Allen own and operate the business. The whole team comes from generational hunting and ranching backgrounds—this isn't a corporate outfitter. Shane Allen manages day-to-day operations and takes bookings.
