During the fall rut (September-October), elk bugle continuously across the ranch. Hunters spot herds in open mountain parks at evening and secluded meadows at morning, with bulls moving into dark timber mid-day. The high bull-to-cow ratio and massive herd density create constant hunting opportunity.
