Estes Park Gun & Archery Club

Estes Park Gun & Archery Club has been serving the greater Estes Valley and surrounding communities for over 50 years. It's entirely volunteer-operated and open to anyone of good standing in the community who isn't legally prohibited from owning firearms.

• •Indoor Range – Located at U.S. Highway 36 & Community Drive (next to the Estes Park Dog Park)
• •Six shooting lanes, 50 feet long
• •Allowed: All genuine handgun calibers (.45 and under), .22 LR rimfire rifles, air guns
• •Prohibited: Black powder, .44 magnum or larger, centerfire rifles, shotguns, armor-piercing rounds, steel jacket bullets
• •Hours: Thursday & Friday 6:30–7:30 PM, Sunday 2:00–3:00 PM (Nov–May)
• •First Tuesday of each month: Defensive Pistol Skills Review, 5:15–6:45 PM

• •Outdoor Range – Located in Noel's Draw on U.S. Highway 34 (5.5 miles south of Olympus Dam)
• •Pistol ranges
• •Rifle ranges at 100, 200, and 300 yards
• •Stationary and walking archery ranges
• •Hours: 30 minutes after sunrise to 30 minutes before sunset
• •Members have full daylight access; non-members welcome on Public Days (every Saturday, summer, 9 AM–12 PM)

• •Members: $1.00 per visit
• •Non-Members (Public): $5.00 per visit
• •Targets: $0.10 each
• •Firearm Rental: $10.00
• •Active Duty Military: Free range fee (documentation required)

• •Members: Free
• •Guests (with member): Free
• •Public Day Non-Members: $5.00
• •Organized events may have additional fees

• •Sign-in required every visit to either range. Members and guests are responsible for self-managing safety protocols and range officer duties at the outdoor range.

• •Indoor Range Ammunition Limits: Light hand loads only—not to exceed 550 ft/lbs energy at 50 yards, no bullets over 250 grains. Shooters must provide proof if questioned by range officer.

• •Rules are Enforced: Violations can result in fines and/or expulsion. Non-payment of fines within 30 days is grounds for removal from the club.

Both Individual and Family memberships available. Family membership includes spouse and children under 18 (minors must be accompanied by an adult).

The club publishes bi-monthly newsletters and maintains a calendar of range cleanup dates and special events. Check their membership portal or email the Membership Chair with questions about availability and 2026 registration.
