Branford Gun Club

Branford Gun Club is a premier private shooting club located on Connecticut's southern coast, serving the shooting sports community since 1936. Situated minutes from public beaches, the Thimble Islands, and Yale University, this well-established facility offers members comprehensive shooting experiences across multiple disciplines.

The club features a 50-foot indoor pistol range providing members with nearly unlimited access for practice and skill development. For clay target enthusiasts, Branford Gun Club operates 13 trap machines with blacklight capability, enabling shooters to compete under the lights during evening sessions. The facility also offers a 5-stand clay target shooting course for those seeking more dynamic clay target challenges.

Archery shooters have dedicated facilities including a 3D archery course designed to simulate hunting scenarios with targets positioned at various angles and elevations—both from ground level and tree stand height—to ensure clean shots around natural obstacles.

Branford Gun Club is a membership-based organization with several membership spots currently available.
