Full description and what we offer
Grimm Coatings & Engraving holds both FFL 01 and 07 licenses and specializes in precision finishing work for firearms and firearm components. If you need your rifle or pistol customized with durable coatings, engraved, or serviced, this is a full-service gunsmith shop.
Firearm Cerakote is their core service. Cerakote offers superior corrosion resistance, durability, and high-temperature stability—perfect for protecting your investment from the elements. They stock multiple colors, patterns, and finishes so you can customize your build exactly how you want it.
Laser engraving and stippling round out the customization side. Full-frame laser stipple work includes finger index points on frame sides and front/back straps. Deep and shallow engraving options are available for personalization.
Firearm transfers start at $50 for basic person-to-person transfers. Whether you're buying in-state or out-of-state, they handle the paperwork and can arrange full shipping services if you're selling out of state.
Firearm consignment lets you sell through their established network of clientele. They broker the deal and handle logistics—reach out for their current fee structure.
They stock aftermarket firearm parts from quality manufacturers:
Prices are competitive: AR-15 BCGs range $140–$165, Glock barrels $165–$190, OEM frames $250–$400.
They also do general coating work—powder coating, Cerakote, media blasting, vapor blasting, and chemical stripping for automotive parts, exhaust components, and other applications. Custom laser engraving extends to metal credit cards, metal business cards, and laser-engraved cups and tumblers if you need branded merch.
