Okanogan Valley Guide Service operates fully guided hunting and fishing trips across central Washington's Okanogan region. Owner Jerrod Gibbons has spent two decades building relationships with private landowners to secure exclusive access away from public land crowds. • •Early Archery (September 1-25) – Four-day hunts during bachelor season when bucks are grouped and predictable. Double bull blinds and tree stands positioned on food sources. Spot-and-stalk available in good weather. $3,500 + tax.

• •Muzzleloader (Sept 29 - Oct 7) – Four-day season hunting deer leaving agriculture fields. 50-120 yard effective ranges with spot-and-stalk tactics. $3,750 for 2-on-1, $4,500 for 1-on-1 + tax.

• •Modern Rifle (Oct 13-22) – Four days during the transition season with variable weather (hot to snow possible). Bucks are starting the pre-rut, making bigger deer visible. Typical shots 50-300 yards, commonly around 200. $4,500 + tax.

• •Special Permit Hunts (Nov 1-20) – Limited permit hunts for the rut migration when deer drop from high country. Four-day hunts with potential to see 50 bucks daily. Permits must be applied for in May. Contact for available units.

• •Late Archery Mule Deer (Nov 21-30) – Five-day rut hunts when bucks chase does out of high country. Double bull blinds, spot-and-stalk, rattling, and grunting. Common to see 130-160 class bucks. Snow conditions possible. $4,500 + tax.

• •Late Archery Whitetail (Nov 21 - Dec 15) – Four-day rut hunts in river bottoms over scrape lines. Tree stand hunting, double bull blinds. Opportunities for 170-class bucks. $4,500 for 1-on-1 + tax.

All deer hunts include lodging, meals, and guide service. Hunts operate at 1-on-1 (full attention) or 2-on-1 (discounted rate) guiding. Camp features wall tents with stoves and packed lunches for field days. Field dressing and meat handling included. Disabled hunters accommodated—ground blinds available for those unable to hike or climb stands.

• •Spring Turkey Hunts (April 15 - May 30) – Two-day hunts for Merriam's turkeys with occasional Rio's and Eastern birds. Hunt roosting birds at first light with decoys, then call them into double bull blinds or pursue on old logging roads. The Okanogan population is healthy and expanding. Two-day, one-bird hunts: $1,100 + tax.

• •Coyote Hunting (October - April) – Year-round opportunity using mouth calls early season, transitioning to Fox Pro electronic calls by February. Shots range from 200 yards to 10 feet. Prime hides October-January. Bonus: bobcats sometimes call in with no extra charge. Rates: $275 1-on-1, $225 2-on-1 + tax per day.

• •Summer Chinook & Sockeye (July 1 - Sept) – Fish the Brewster pool and Wells Dam area from a 21-foot Duckworth boat with 4 leather swivel seats. Recent seasons allowed 6 sockeye and 3 chinook per day. Frequent 30+ fish days with high-quality, bright fish. Rates: $250/person (2 people), $225/person (3 people), $200/person (4+ people) + tax.

• •Lake Chelan Kokanee (February - Summer) – 10-fish limit targeting fast-action silver bullets. Plan for 20-40 fish coolers. Occasional bonus landlocked chinook. Expect 100 bites for limits—pure volume fishing.

• •Lake Conconully & Palmer Kokanee (April - Summer) – General opener end of April through summer. 5-fish limits on stout, table-quality fish. Beautiful lake settings with lodging options in Conconully and Palmer.

• •Lake Roosevelt Kokanee – Coming soon. Trophy-sized kokanee hunts in development.

Two experienced guides operate two fully equipped guide boats. All rods, reels, and bait provided—bring license and camera. Minimum 2 people. Rates: $700 for 4 people ($200/person) or $200/person for other group sizes. Half deposit required; cancellations within 10 days forfeit deposit.
