One Shot Firearms Training is run by Giuseppe Raccuglia, a Marine Corps veteran and certified USCCA and NRA instructor. The training philosophy here is straightforward: "One shot is all it takes." You walk away with real confidence in firearms handling and marksmanship—not just passing a test.

CT Pistol Permit Course — The state-required 8-hour course for getting licensed. Covers the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for safe pistol ownership and use. Price: $100 (includes guns, ammunition, range time, and classroom materials). $50 non-refundable deposit.

Refresher Course — 1-hour course to sharpen marksmanship and handling skills. You learn advanced drills you can use going forward and get hands-on with various firearms to inform future purchases. Also $100, includes gun rental and range time.

Advanced Training — Periodic courses for shooters looking to develop beyond basics. Spots are limited and fill quickly. Class dates and pricing vary—check their website for current offerings.

Students train with industry-standard firearms: Glock, Sig, Walther, Smith & Wesson, and Heckler & Koch. The idea is that what you learn in the classroom transfers directly to the range and to real-world carry.
