Prospect Gun Club

Prospect Gun Club is an NRA-affiliated shooting club located in Prospect, Connecticut, dedicated to promoting safe and responsible firearm handling through recreational and competitive shooting. The club welcomes U.S. citizens of all skill levels and provides a welcoming community focused on marksmanship, safety education, and fellowship.

The club features a 100-yard shooting range equipped with 16 dedicated shooting ports accommodating multiple disciplines:

• •Rifle and Pistol Shooting – Full-length 100-yard range with 16 ports
• •Trap Shooting – Electric trap system for shotgun sport shooting
• •Competitive Events – Regular fun competitions and skill development

Prospect Gun Club operates as a membership-based facility. The club maintains regular operating hours and welcomes both members and guests. Guest passes are available with proper documentation (guest waiver form required).

• •Winter Hours: Saturday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Sunday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Beyond daily range use, PGC hosts community events throughout the year:

• •Annual Game Dinners
• •Ham and Turkey Shoots

• •NRA Pistol Permit training courses (compliant with Connecticut state requirements)
