Full description and what we offer
Connecticut Archery isn't your typical big-box outdoor store where you wander around looking for help. Staff actually enjoy what they do and will spend time answering questions—whether you're picking up a bow for the first time or you've been shooting for decades.
Owner Mike Scaniffe built this operation around real archery expertise. He designed and sells the Square Up, a bow torque indicator that solves a specific problem: misalignment of the bow riser's twist axis. This causes fishtailing arrows and left-right misses. Square Up lets you see and correct the error in real time.
Archery means different things to different people—hunting, family time, or just shooting for the sake of it. Connecticut Archery treats every customer the same way, whether you're a parent wanting to share something you love with your kids or a veteran archer looking for your next bow.
"The real research didn't start until I visited Connecticut Archery. You aren't going to wonder around forever looking for someone to help you. The store is well stocked and the staff is not only knowledgeable, but enjoy their job."
Owner-designed tools and genuine enthusiasm for the sport set this shop apart from places that just move inventory.
