Modern Shooting Solutions was founded by Rustin Staheli, a firearms instructor with both military service and law enforcement background. He deployed to Iraq and trained alongside Special Forces Green Berets, Army Rangers, Marine scout snipers, SWAT team members, and Delta Force operators. That real-world experience shaped every class offered.

Staheli built Modern Shooting Solutions specifically to welcome people with zero firearm training. If you don't own a gun, the company has pistols available for rent during class. You pay for ammunition and instruction—that's it. Teachers in the region train free of charge (ammunition costs only).
