If they don't have it, special orders typically arrive in days.

Scope Installation - Free if you buy both the scope and firearm at FSF - $45 minimum charge if bringing scope from elsewhere

Gun Transfers - Person-to-person: $30 (both parties present, background check included) - Dealer-to-dealer in: $80 (additional firearms $25 each) - Dealer-to-dealer out: $50 (additional firearms $25 each) - Delayed transfers held with one-third deposit; Delaware law applies (25-day rule, or 5-day "Brady Date" for shotguns/CCDW permit holders)

Gun Repair & Cleaning - Full repair services available (fees vary by work type) - Professional cleaning services at reasonable rates - Contact store for specific pricing and turnaround times

Firearms Packaging & Shipping - Professional packaging for online orders - Shipping coordination to FFLs nationwide

First State Firearms buys, sells, and consigns used weapons. The team has 65 years of combined firearms experience in valuation, marketing, and sales of new, used, and vintage guns.

Estate Services - Fair market appraisals (open market liquidation value) - Insurance appraisals (replacement cost for coverage purposes) - No minimum or maximum collection size - Can appraise, consign, or purchase entire estates outright

What You Need to Buy: - Valid, unexpired driver's license or state photo ID with current home address - Military PCS orders accepted with home state license - Federal background check (ATF Form 4473, completed in-store)

Age Requirements: - Shotguns & muzzle loaders: 18+ years - Rifles: 21+ years (18+ with DE CCDW permit or military/LEO) - Handguns, receivers, pistol-grip shotguns: 21+ years - Ammunition (rifles/handguns): 21+ years (18+ with DE CCDW permit or military/LEO)

Background Check Outcomes: - Proceed: Purchase same day - Denied: Documentation provided for appeal - Delayed: Hold with one-third deposit; Delaware law allows transfer after 25 days without NICS confirmation (5 days for shotguns/CCDW holders)

Layaway Terms: - 30-day standard period (extendable to 60 days if 75%+ paid within 30 days) - Minimum one-third down payment required - 10% restocking fee if canceled for any reason - No refunds on special orders (50% deposit required)

Return Policy: - 10% restocking fee on all returns - Must be in new, unopened packaging within 1 week - Returns not accepted on firearms, leather products, or sale/clearance items - Used firearms sold as-is with no warranty
