WTA maintains strict range safety rules to keep the shooting environment safe for everyone. All personal shotguns are subject to inspection. The club emphasizes why safety training matters—they reference real-world shooting range accidents to stress the importance of proper instruction.
New shooters need safety and shooting instruction before their first visit. Call Allan Brown at 302-740-9525 to schedule an appointment. Practice sessions depend on weather and officer availability, with a goal of one day per weekend. The club also actively recruits scorers (ages 14+) and volunteers to help keep costs down.
WTA encourages shooters to compete in the Delaware State Shoot—described as "keen and exciting" competition even for first-timers.
