1st Class Firearms Training takes the opposite approach of crowded gun clubs and commercial ranges. Their NRA-certified instructors work one-on-one with clients at locations convenient to the student—your home, a private range, or outdoors.

Every client gets a custom lesson plan based on their starting point:
- •Firearm Care & Maintenance — Disassembly, cleaning, oiling, reassembly, safe storage. Responsible gun owners keep their firearms functioning.
- •Sighting & Shooting — From never-fired-before to decades-away-from-the-range. Covers stance, accuracy, clearing jams, and more. Rentals available if you don't own a firearm.
- •Concealed Carry Weapons Course — Private Florida CCW class meeting state requirements. Heavy emphasis on safety and Florida statutes on use of force. You'll leave with help filling out your permit application.
- •Range Practice — Indoor or outdoor, private instruction for those who feel uncomfortable at traditional ranges. They accommodate special needs including wheelchair access.
- •NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting — Available as traditional instructor-led or hybrid (online eLearning + hands-on).
- •NRA Basic Personal Protection in the Home — 8-hour course (prerequisite: prior pistol training or qualification). ~100 rounds fired. Covers defensive strategies, home safety, firearm selection, and the law.
MantisX Laser Academy — Supplement live training with laser dry-fire training. Works on any firearm (pistol, rifle, shotgun), generates shooting data, zero ammo costs. Serious shooters practice this way.
They train individuals, couples, families, and groups. Classroom instruction available via FaceTime or Zoom. They specifically welcome people who: - Feel intimidated at gun ranges - Don't have time for rigid class schedules - Prefer privacy and confidentiality - Need accessibility accommodations - Are brand new to firearms
