Full description and what we offer
All American Gunsmithing and Cerakote is veteran-owned and operated by Aleck Wallman, who served eight years with the U.S. Army including multiple tours to Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division and 3rd Infantry Division Aviation. After military service, he combined his passion for precision craftsmanship with firearms expertise to launch the shop. The result: military-grade attention to detail applied to every project that walks through the door.
Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating engineered to bond to metal, polymer, and wood. It resists corrosion, abrasion, chemicals, and high heat while adding only a thin layer—so your tolerances don't get affected. The coating comes in hundreds of colors and patterns.
- •Why it matters: It extends service life, protects metal and moving parts from wear, reduces friction in some applications, and gives your gun a professional finish that's easier to clean. Proper surface prep and correct curing by a trained applicator are essential for the coating to perform as advertised.
