Full description and what we offer
Operation Blazing Sword started the Monday after the 2016 Pulse nightclub terrorist attack. What began as one person's response has become a 501c3 nonprofit with over 1500 volunteer instructors across all 50 states, plus Canada, Australia, and Europe.
The original mission serves the LGBTQ+ community. But Operation Blazing Sword explicitly welcomes people of all faiths, races, and backgrounds—especially those targeted by violence.
"Guns allow you to defend your queer life. Therefore, guns preserve queer lives."
Instructors teach an average of one person per week. Many students go on to get concealed carry permits and become volunteers themselves. It's a network that keeps growing.
Find an instructor through their online directory. Search by location, read reviews from past students, and schedule your training. Completely free.
