Full description and what we offer
C.O.B.R.A. Defense Miami runs a 10-week self-defense academy built on law enforcement reality, not dojo tradition. Founder Chris Sutton—an ex-street cop, sheriff, and corrections officer—combined close-quarter combat, scenario training, and the psychology of criminal intent into a system designed for survival when it actually matters.
There are no belts. No uniforms. No bowing. This is what they call a "Police Academy for Civilians."
Classes are for everyone regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. Single parents. Teachers. Law enforcement. Corporate teams. Kids. The academy covers both physical techniques and the psychology that makes them work.
New students can register for a free No-Cost Self Defense Power Class that covers targeting formulas, criminal psychology, what to do under gunpoint stress, and immediate verbal/physical strategies. Classes fill fast—text SAFEPC to 305-745-7839 or call 800-289-8188.
"C.O.B.R.A. was actually better than the training I received in the police academy." — Meg C., Law enforcement officer
"The techniques taught in C.O.B.R.A. are quick. Gross motor skills... that effective and I was able to maintain control of the situation." — John W., 17-year law enforcement veteran and U.S. Marine
