Full description and what we offer
Bryan "Duckie" Villella started Don't Be A Sitting Duck in 2013 to fill a gap he saw in the market. Too many training programs catered to either absolute beginners who felt intimidated by testosterone-filled instructors, or they jumped straight to tactical operator territory. His target? The soccer mom protecting her family, couples learning together, and responsible gun owners who wanted real skills without the posturing.
"Training is always evolving and as an instructor, learning never ends." — Duckie's approach to continuous improvement
Duckie is an NRA and Florida State Certified "K" Instructor with direct field experience from corrections work, prisoner transport, site security, and private security operations. That real-world background means he teaches actual scenarios—not just range theory.
