Florida Gun Center operates as both a retail firearms dealer and an indoor shooting range at a single Hialeah location. They've been serving Miami-Dade and Broward counties since 1984.
The shooting range features 10 shooting stalls with state-of-the-art ballistic protection. Adjustable targets move up to 55 feet downrange, giving you realistic, challenging practice scenarios. The facility accommodates:
What's NOT Allowed: - Black powder ammunition - Steel core or armor-piercing rounds - Loaded firearms in the store - Outside ammunition with rental guns
The range is air-conditioned and open Mon-Fri 10AM-7PM, Sat 9AM-7PM, Sun 10AM-6PM.

If you rent from Florida Gun Center, you must buy their ammunition. Outside rounds aren't permitted with rentals.
The shop stocks handguns in multiple calibers, rifles, shotguns, ammunition, optics, gun storage solutions, knives, and tools. They accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Military and First Responder Discount: 10% off accessories, 5% off optics (valid ID required).
Firearm Purchase Rules: - Must be 21+ years old (Florida law) - Background check and waiting period apply - Valid ID and documentation required - No returns once transferred (used gun pricing applies) - Returns before transfer subject to 25% restocking fee
Florida Gun Center runs Florida Concealed Weapons and Firearms License (CWFL) classes limited to 6 students for personalized instruction.
Class Details: - Cost: $100 - Duration: ~2 hours - Schedule: Mon-Fri at 4PM, Sat-Sun at 9AM - English and Spanish instructors available - Prerequisites: US citizen or legal resident, 21+ years old
What You Get: - Classroom instruction covering Florida Statutes 790 and 776 (firearms and use-of-force law) - Dry fire training with training guns and electronic targets - Live fire practice in their indoor range - Safety certificate to apply for your CWFL with Florida Department of Agriculture
The certificate costs $100 from FGC. After that, you apply with the state ($97 fee) and receive your permit in 10-20 business days.

The facility offers expert instruction covering home firearm safety, personal protection, and basic firearm training. Experienced instructors emphasize technique, safety habits, and skill development for beginners and advanced shooters alike.
One spectator per shooter is allowed in the range area to watch.
