Florida Concealed

Florida Concealed offers a streamlined path to your Florida Concealed Weapons License. Unlike shops that handle one piece, they complete the entire process in a single session: firearms safety course with live range time, fingerprinting, photo services, and state application packet preparation—all onsite and all required by Florida law.

Cost: $120 (cash only) – The separate $97 state processing fee is mailed separately.

Even with recent Florida law changes, the Florida Concealed Weapons License remains necessary for:

1. Carrying within 1,000 feet of any school zone (federal law) 2. Bypassing the waiting period on firearm purchases 3. Reciprocal carry in 35+ states that honor Florida permits 4. Carrying in places of worship on school property

The license is valid for 7 years and recognized in over 35 states.

Most Tuesday evenings and most Saturday mornings

Private group classes available Sunday mornings (minimum 12 students)

Location: Bass Pro Shops, 2nd floor above the Hunting Department, Dania Beach (near I-95 & Griffin Rd)

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, a U.S. citizen, or legal permanent resident with valid green card. Average processing time is 3–4 weeks from application submission to Tallahassee. Expedited service available (saves ~5 days) but requires in-person submission at regional office.
