Full description and what we offer
GASC's Schutzenverein is Southwest Florida's German-style target shooting club, operating under the umbrella of the German-American Social Club of Cape Coral. This isn't your typical range—it's a continuation of a centuries-old German shooting sport tradition brought to life in southwest Florida.
Members use high-precision air rifles manufactured in Germany. This keeps the focus on marksmanship fundamentals: stance, sight picture, trigger control, and consistency. No centerfire noise, no expensive ammo consumption—just pure shooting technique.
The club runs an annual King and Queen shootout and competes against the Lantana Schutzenverein (Palm Beach area) for a traveling trophy. It's the kind of event that builds camaraderie while testing who's actually putting rounds downrange accurately.
The Schutzenverein operates within GASC, which has hosted cultural events and festivals since 1964. Members get access to the full club calendar—Oktoberfest, weekly Heimatabend dinners and dances, social Thursdays, and facility rentals. The shooting club is woven into a larger German-American community.
2101 SW Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Contact the club directly at [email protected] or (239) 283-1400.
This is precision shooting the way it's been done for generations—focused on marksmanship, community, and tradition. If you appreciate air rifle shooting and German heritage, this is where you belong.
