GunnyGuns operates a firearms academy focused on practical training and career advancement. The operation is owned and run by retired US Marines holding combined active duty service exceeding 42 years. Lead instructor Edgardo Del Valle is a retired Gunnery Sergeant with 11 years as a Marine Combat Instructor and 10+ years teaching combat marksmanship. He's also bilingual in Spanish.
Fully accredited by Florida as both a DI Instructor (unarmed security) and K Instructor (firearms/armed security). Florida Firearms Instructor License #K 3000045. NRA-certified instruction available.

The concealed carry class focuses on Florida firearms laws rather than marksmanship—it's a legal certification requirement, not a shooting course. Brief firearms safety and handling assessment is included. Instructors provide firearms and ammunition for the evaluation. You'll receive a certificate of completion needed when applying for your permit at the Martin County Tax Collector's office. State permit fees range $102–$124 and processing takes 2 weeks to 90 days.
