Practical Defense Weapons Training LLC operates out of Southwest Florida under Chris, a 21-year Army Infantry veteran with three deployments plus Army Sniper and S.E.R.E. school credentials. He holds an associate degree in Criminal Justice and a Private Investigation diploma. Training started in 2020and focuses on small-group instruction with military-level professionalism.

• •Concealed Carry Class covers gun construction, safe handling, concealed carry laws, and self-defense use of force.

Defensive Handgun Progression: - Level I (Foundation): Shooting from the holster, reloading techniques, malfunction drills, speed work. Limited to 10 students with two instructors. - Level II (Intermediate): Speed reloading, multiple target engagement, varied distance shooting, failure drills, single-hand shooting, pistol maintenance and setup. - Level III (Advanced): Dynamic threat engagement, medical training integration, shooting while injured, stress decision-making. Prerequisites required.

• •Tactical Carbine Level I for ages 12+. Real-world defensive tactics with military and federally-accredited instructors. Low student-to-instructor ratio ensures one-on-one attention in group settings.

• •Kids Firearm Safety (ages 8-14): 2-hour course with 1 hour classroom, 1 hour live fire with .22 handgun. Covers safe handling, grip, sight picture, stance, breathing, trigger control, and home gun safety.

Chris prioritizes making nervous beginners feel comfortable. Students consistently mention his patient, approachable demeanor and ability to create a relaxed learning environment without making anyone feel overwhelmed.

Classes limited to 10 students maximum. Two instructors on defensive handgun courses ensure personal attention. Chris schedules training at times convenient for students.
