Professional Security Institute opened in 1989 and remains the longest-standing security training school in the region. Their instructors include NRA Law Enforcement Certified trainers, Florida Certified Law Enforcement and Corrections Officers—each bringing decades of real-world experience to the classroom.
- •Unarmed Security License (D) – Internet pricing available, veteran discounts
- •Armed Security License (G) – Classroom-based instruction
- •Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) – Classroom and live-fire range training
Classes run every other week, Thursday through Sunday, 7am–5pm. Both weekday and weekend options available. Free security hat included with graduation.
