Camp Augusta

Camp Augusta's archery program uses the same equipment as the Junior Olympic Archery Division: quality carbon-fiber arrows and competition-grade bows, backed by a lesson plan refined over 20 years by the Camp Director.

• •Levels 1-2: Fundamentals. Campers learn equipment and proper shooting technique. Most focused students consistently hit yellow and red zones within 2-4 classes.

• •Level 3: Mental game. Instinct-based shooting including "Robin Hood" style, timed shoots, moving targets, and gut-feel accuracy development.

• •Level 4: Advanced form and physics. Students graduate to national-competition-level bows and move beyond basic technique fundamentals.

• •Level 5: Complete mastery. Full bow disassembly/reassembly, stringing techniques, advanced aiming, and higher target standards. Level 5 certification includes flaming arrow shooting privileges.
