Cohutta Pines

Cohutta Pines sits inside the Chattahoochee National Forest overlooking the Cohutta Wilderness. Four ranges stretch from 15 to 100 yards, plus a 50-yard archery range with two platforms and targets spaced every 10 yards.

Training is their focus. USCCA Official Partners teach quarterly rotating courses: - Handgun Essentials: Full-day course for beginners and experienced shooters covering safety, anatomy, handling, and foundational shooting skills - Marksmanship Essentials: Range-focused day drilling accuracy, consistency, and control - Rapid Deployment: Intensive pistol course for experienced shooters on concealed carry deployment

Dr. Jimmy Turner, Director of Training and Lead Instructor, is a Marine Corps veteran with decades of military and civilian defensive training. He holds multiple instructor certifications and volunteers free workshops for community safety.
