Full description and what we offer
Killer Instinct Guide Service is a family-owned operation built on actual hunting experience. The Fuller family and friends started taking kids outdoors to introduce them to hunting and fishing. When the kids began harvesting game, adults started asking for guided hunts too. That demand led to forming the business in 2021—and they haven't looked back.
They operate out of Newnan, Georgia (PO Box 1912, Newnan, GA 30264) and specialize in two distinct hunting experiences: alligator hunts and whitetail deer hunts across multiple counties.
They focus on Lake Eufaula (Zones 1 and 1A) but will travel to other zones in Georgia and Alabama if clients have access to the water. Their alligator hunts use hook-and-line capture followed by dispatch with a bangstick or handgun—all in compliance with Georgia State Law.
What to expect: - Free-ranging alligators (8' to 10' almost assured; they've harvested up to 13'1") - You participate in the entire process: hooking, shooting, retrieval, and tagging - High success ratio if you allow adequate time - All safety briefings provided before the hunt - Recommendations for processors (they don't process meat themselves)
| Zone | Pricing | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Zone 1 or 1A (Lake Eufaula) | $650/day | Full day |
| Zone 2 (Lake Seminole) | $1,000 | 1.5 days |
| Zone 3 (Lake Blackshear) | $650/day | Full day |
| Zone 8 & 9 (Savannah River) | $1,000 | 1.5 days |
| Alabama (Lake Eufaula Zone) | $750/day | Full day |
All prices include hunter + 2 guests. Extra days available at discounted rates.
Important: You must obtain an alligator permit through www.gohuntgeorgia.com BEFORE booking. They'll help you navigate the points-based system and licensing requirements once your permit is awarded.
They have access to properties in Fulton County, Coweta County, Heard County, Meriwether County, and Troup County—from 1-acre tracts near metro Atlanta to 300-acre spreads in western Georgia. Their team rotates hunters between multiple parcels to stay on active deer without depending on a single location.
Hunt Types:
Archery Hunting - Bow or crossbow allowed during archery season - Pre-scouted locations on scrape lines, pinch points, food plots, and feeders - Tree stands and ground blinds already set up (bring your own climbing or lock-on if preferred) - Semi-guided: staff takes you to/from stand and assists with recovery
Rifle & Muzzleloader Hunting - Comfortable elevated box stands or ground blinds - Muzzleloaders allowed during primitive weapon and rifle seasons; rifles only during rifle season - Pre-scouted properties to minimize human scent and foot traffic - Semi-guided service with recovery assistance
The Cedar Cottage Packages
They offer Whitetail Deer Hunting Packages for 2 hunters with lodging at The Cedar Cottage. Each package includes: - Semi-guided hunt on properties with highest probability of success - Private lodging for both hunters - Guide picks you up at the cottage and handles transport to the hunt property - Assistance with recovery and transport to your preferred processor - Each hunter allowed 1 buck (8 points or larger) and 1 doe (if in season)
Meals not included but the cottage has a kitchen. Multiple restaurants within short driving distance.
Hunt format: Arrive Friday, check in at the cottage. Guide briefs you on details. Saturday hunt. Processing assistance available.
Trail camera intel: They maintain trail cameras across properties. Their Instagram shows recent giants on their land—8-pointers and beyond roaming the woods.
