Don Wixom teaches firearms training classes throughout the Treasure Valley, specializing in Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapons License certification. The 8-hour Enhanced CWL course splits between 4 hours of classroom instruction and 4 hours of range work, covering Idaho legal codes, self-defense law, and proper firearm handling.

AR-15 Fundamentals runs 4.5 hours and burns through approximately 200 rounds, teaching proper stance, techniques, and manipulation. Students can bring their own rifle or rent one of their 5.56/.223 AR-15s.
Drillz & Skillz Pistol Class targets existing CWL holders wanting to sharpen their accuracy and handling skills. This 4-hour range course moves fast and focuses on practical shooting improvements.
Enhanced Idaho CWL certification is also valid for Oregon carry permits
Training follows a structured approach: 1. Classroom instruction covering safety fundamentals and legal requirements 2. Range training with live fire exercises and accuracy drills 3. Certificate completion for Enhanced CWL application
Personal Protection Firearms courses run regularly, with some offered as 2-day split sessions for scheduling flexibility. USCCA Fundamental Qualification classes are also available for those seeking additional certification.
