Murphy Precision

Cameron Murphy started Murphy Precision in 2005 with a used CNC milling machine and one goal: make a quality scope mount for his stainless Winchester Model 70. What he found on the market were soft aluminum or poorly finished steel rails. "How hard could it be, to make a really nice stainless rail?" he thought.

Turns out stainless is A LOT harder to machine than aluminum. After scrapping multiple parts and 15 years of improving tooling and techniques, Murphy Precision now ships over 1,000 scope bases per year from Star, Idaho.

Murphy makes Picatinny spec scope bases for over 170 different rifle actions (with more added monthly). Every base is personally machined and finished by Cameron himself on his professional CNC machining center.

Finishes: - Natural bead blasted (stainless and titanium) - Black GunKote ceramic finish - Custom Cerakote colors ($25 if in stock, $60 for special orders)

• •Custom Scope Bases - Minor variations in hole spacing or custom MOA bases available for small surcharge over standard retail

• •Custom Engraving - $45 additional, limited to 3 lines with 10 characters per line (adds 3-4 days to order)

• •Custom Finishes - Additional Cerakote colors available beyond standard black GunKote
