Full description and what we offer

Muzzle Brakes and More builds custom muzzle brakes and provides precision rifle services from their Boise shop. This is a one-man operation focused on creating the most effective muzzle brakes available through extensive testing and continuous design improvements.

The Beast Series represents years of development and testing against every major competitor brake on the market. Each brake design gets put through rigorous sled testing to measure actual recoil reduction performance.

Current Beast Series Models: - Mini Beast - 7/16x28, 1/2x28, 9/16x24 threads - Lil Beast - Compact design for smaller contour barrels - Beast - Standard diameter brake in 3, 4, and 5 port configurations - Big Beast II - Self-timed 2-piece design with hex caps - Super Beast - 1.25" to 1.35" diameter for heavy contour barrels - Jumbo Beast - Up to 1.475" diameter for the largest magnums

Titanium Options Available: - Ti Beast CF II - Weighs 55% of stainless version - Baby Ti Beast - Ultra-light for hunting rifles - Super Ti Beast - Large diameter titanium construction

Many Beast brakes feature a patented self-timing system that eliminates the need for crush washers or timing nuts. The 2-piece design includes:

  • Left-handed cap threads to prevent loosening
  • Hex-cut caps for easy installation and removal
  • Custom taper options down to .750" diameter
  • Ability to retrofit different cap sizes

Every brake design gets validated on their custom test sled system before production. Recent testing showed:

Unmodified Beast brake: 18" sled travel on 300 Win Mag New experimental design: 14.5" travel (19% improvement) Tuned Beast brake: 15.5" travel

They've tested over 30 different port designs in the pursuit of maximum effectiveness, with plans for specialized versions tuned to specific cartridge classes (6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm magnums, .338 Lapua, etc.).

Production Note As a one-man shop, production schedules change based on demand and hunting seasons. Stock levels can sell out quickly - Beast brakes that normally last 3+ months in inventory have sold out in days during peak periods.
