Full description and what we offer
Upper Snake River Bowmen has been the backbone of archery in the Upper Snake River region for over three-quarters of a century. What started as a passion project has evolved into a well-organized club that serves bowhunters and archery enthusiasts across Idaho.
Members get full access to the club's private archery range stocked with extensive 3D targets for skill development and practice. The range operates seasonally from mid-to-late April through August (typically concluding after the annual Beesley Shoot). Every member can bring a guest for free.
Range access is one of the core benefits of membership—practice as much as you need during the open season.
The club organizes multiple archery shoots annually, including established events like:
These aren't just competitions—they're opportunities to dial in equipment before bow hunting season and connect with other serious archers. Shoot flyers and schedules are posted on the website.
The USRB Banquet (held each January) is the club's main fundraiser and celebration. Members gather to:
All banquet proceeds go directly back into the club to maintain equipment and secure quality locations for shoots.
| Membership Type | Price | Benefits |
|---|---|---|
| Individual | $40 | Range access, discounted shoot registration, guest privileges |
| Family | $60 | Same benefits for all family members listed |
Members also receive monthly newsletters with club updates, event announcements, and bowhunting news.
The club is run by elected board members who shift annually at the banquet. Leadership roles include range masters, shoot coordinators, banquet planning, and publicity—ensuring the club stays organized and growing.
