ELR Heavy Memorial Weekend Match

The ELR Heavy Memorial Weekend Match is a long-range precision rifle competition held in Southeast Idaho. This event brings together shooters interested in testing their skills at extended distances while honoring the memory of fallen friends and family.

ELR (Extreme Long Range) competitions challenge shooters to engage targets at significant distances, requiring precision rifle setup, fieldcraft, and ballistic knowledge. Expect multiple stages with varying target distances and conditions typical of Southeast Idaho terrain.

This match suits shooters with experience in long-range precision rifle shooting. Participants should be comfortable with their rifle's ballistics, capable of reading wind and environmental conditions, and familiar with prone or supported shooting positions. If you're new to ELR, arrive early to observe and ask questions.

Bring a properly zeroed precision rifle, ammunition, ballistic calculator or dope card, and all support gear you rely on for your shooting. The Southeast Idaho landscape can be exposed, so prepare for variable weather and bring adequate water and snacks for a full day of shooting.
