Paradis Gunsmithing runs a full-service gunsmith operation covering rifle builds, handgun work, shotgun restoration, and precision finishing. They handle the jobs most gun owners can't do themselves.
Rifle & Action Work - Barrel installation, cutting, and crowning - Headspace checks and chamber casting - Safety installation (Dakota, Gentry, Mod 70, Mark II types) - Trigger installation and adjustment (Shilen, Timney, Dayton-Traister, etc.) - Glass bedding for hunting and match rifles - Recoil pad and butt plate installation - Stock inletting and finishing on wood and synthetic stocks
Handgun Specialization - 1911 builds: barrel fitting (ramped and non-ramped), trigger and hammer fitting, slide tightening, magazine well beveling - Revolver work: rebarreling, action jobs, crane straightening, grip conversion - Semi-auto action jobs and compensator installation
Shotgun Services - Forcing cone work (plated and non-plated) - Choke modifications and screw-in choke installation - Rib resoldering and forend lug work - Chamber polishing and porting - Back-boring and straightening
Finishing & Details - Cerakote coating (ceramic finish for durability and color) - Metal checkering (hourly) - Engine turning on bolts and small parts - Sight work: installation, bore sighting, scope mounting, drilling and tapping
