StS Armory

StS Armory runs comprehensive concealed carry license training, the primary offering at their Pontoon Beach location. Their 16-hour Illinois CCW class covers firearm safety, pistol mechanics, shooting fundamentals, maintenance, and selection—plus a dedicated section on holsters. The second half dives into Illinois FOID law, transportation rules, federal regulations, carry law, officer interaction, and justifiable force. They provide firearms, ammo, range fees, training materials, and holsters for practice during qualifications.

What You Bring: - Eye and ear protection (not included) - Payment for the $150 Illinois permit fee and optional digital fingerprints ($43–$65)

• •Illinois CCL Renewal – A required 3-hour class with range time for permit holders renewing their license. Covers recent law changes and requalification requirements.

• •What's Next?!?! – For graduates of concealed carry classes wanting to level up. Focus on fast, accurate draws from a holster and dry-fire drills to sharpen your skills at home.

• •Introduction to Pistol Mounted Optics (Red Dot) – Hands-on class teaching red dot sight integration for improved accuracy and speed.

• •Pepper Spray Training – 3-hour course covering attack avoidance, spray types, deployment with inert trainers, legal considerations, and decontamination.

• •Concealment Fundamentals – Learn holster selection, body-specific placement, and safe draw/reholster techniques.

• •Demystifying Off-Body Carry – Dry-fire only instruction on carrying in purses, fanny packs, and backpacks with safe draw technique.

Parent-supervised programs at multiple levels: - Kids Level 1 (30 min): Eddie Eagle Program—age-appropriate safety basics - Kids Level 2 (45 min): Real-world scenarios and decision-making - Kids Level 3 (1.5 hr): Safety rules, fundamentals, hands-on non-firing activities - Teen Firearm Education (6 hr): Includes live-fire under professional supervision

• •Reloading Supplies: Presses, dies, primers, brass, bullets, powders, measuring tools, case cleaning equipment, and priming tools.

• •Hunting Gear: Tree stands, blinds, decoys, game calls, knife sets, ammo boxes, rifle and shotgun cases, range bags, and tactical carriers.

• •Electronics: Chronographs, electronic targets, laser targets, gun lights, night vision, thermal cameras, headlamps, spotlights, and flashlights.
