Full description and what we offer

Trophy Buck Outfitters operates free-range whitetail hunts across diverse Greene County, Illinois properties—no high-fence ranches, no guarantees, just professional guidance and hard work.

The outfitter manages large tracts of leased land with terrain that varies from mature timber and steep bluffs to river and creek bottoms, agricultural fields, CRP sanctuaries, and timbered hollows. Food plots are strategically placed throughout. Their 145-inch Pope & Young minimum buck management standard means hunters see and harvest trophy-class deer throughout the entire season.

Brian and his guides are constantly in the field:

  • Trail cameras placed on travel routes and downwind of bedding areas
  • Glass-based scouting to track deer movement
  • Detailed mapping of bedding areas, rub and scrape lines
  • Feed and travel pattern documentation
  • 150+ strategically-placed stands on the properties

"With our careful land and resource management, we work hard to keep our buck to doe ratio in balance, doing so enables buck calls, rattling antlers, and our preferred Scent attractants to actually work the way they should."

With 150+ stands across the properties, hunters choose what fits them:

  • Hang-on stands
  • Ladder stands
  • Dome tower blinds
  • Pop-up ground blinds
  • Hay bale blinds
  • Fully guided experience with experienced crew
  • Transportation to and from your stand each day
  • Lodging at comfortable air-conditioned/heated lodges
  • All meals (grab-and-go breakfast, lunch fixings, catered dinners from local restaurants)
  • Trophy packing and transport out of the field
  • No trophy fees—they don't penalize you for success

Trophy Buck Outfitters is one of the only hunting operations in Illinois offering on-site tag and license purchasing. Brian handles the paperwork so you don't waste a hunt day on administrative trips to town.

Trophy Buck Outfitters calculates success on their ability to put clients on bucks over their 145-inch minimum. Their success rate averages 60-80%—after that, execution is up to you and your hunting ability. They do the scouting and placement; you do the hunting.

If you attend a previous hunt and don't tag out, you can return for a Late Winter Archery hunt at $1,500 based on availability.
