Location details and information

Founded in 1958, Maywood Sportsmen's Club has grown from a handful of hunting and fishing enthusiasts into a thriving 80+ acre facility serving hundreds of members across the Chicago area. The club remains governed by an elected board of working directors who donate their time to maintain the mission: safe, family-friendly outdoor recreation with conservation and education at its core.

The club operates seven trap fields with voice-activated release systems, an ATA-registered shooting program, and a 14-station sporting clays course with varied presentations (hunting, rabbit, chandelle). Members shoot at competitive rates: $5/round for trap, $25 for 50 targets of sporting clays. A full pistol range is available for full members only. Professional lighting enables evening shooting Wednesday and Friday (6:00 PM - 10:00 PM during Oct 1 - Apr 1), plus Sunday 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM year-round.

"The water is absolutely stunning, I've rarely seen such clear water anywhere in this area. The fishing was absolutely amazing!" — Mike Wiley, Google Reviews

28 realistic 3D animal targets set throughout natural forest terrain with varied elevation and shooting angles. Walking trails, practice range with bag targets, and equipment available for purchase. Suitable from beginners to advanced hunters.
