Bushy Creek Whitetail Outfitters operates from Metamora, Indiana—about an hour northwest of Cincinnati—managing several farms totaling over 2,000 acres. They focus on accessible, straightforward whitetail hunting without the premium price tag.
They run three hunt types:
Every hunter receives:
Youth hunts are free - Any hunter 17 or younger hunts free when accompanied by a paid adult parent or guardian (they must share the same stand per Indiana law)
Typical bucks score 110-130 inches. Hunters regularly see bucks in the 120-130 range, with occasional 140+ inch deer. Their track record: 181" buck (2018), 179" buck (2015), 160" buck (2016), 156" buck (2014).
The central Indiana region experienced a Blue Tongue disease outbreak in summer 2022 that significantly affected local deer populations. Availability varies by season—call 256-566-7021 before booking weeks near capacity.
